For 15 years the partners in pondSoup worked as non profit marketing consultants, art directors, producers, designers, and copy writers for the Goddard Riverside Community Center, supporting their fundraising programs and initiatives. The 100’s of pieces of digital and print promotional materials created helped raise well over $10 million for the organization, and the programs we were involved in helped countless at-risk New Yorkers. ANNUAL NEW YORK BOOK FAIR
The Annual New York Book Fair is Goddard’s cornerstone event, where book publishers donate 1000’s of new books, Goddard sells them at a steep discount, and there’s a opening night gala where everyone gets to celebrate. We developed the logo and created iterations each year, with subtle variations. We designed bus posters, programs, save the dates, building banners, digital banners, print ads, and more. We designed the branding and collateral for ancillary Meet-the-Author and Musical Evenings event series. The work above is a sampling of our themed designs for each annum.
OPTIONS INSTITUTE
Goddard Riverside’s Options Center supports New Yorkers with getting into, paying for, and graduating from college or skill-specific certificate programs. They specialize in working with low-income and first-generation students, who often face the largest barriers to accessing and completing college. We developed brand collateral and non profit marketing promotional materials for the Institute, their fundraising events, and NYC CollegeLine, an affiliated organization.
ANNUAL FUNDRAISING GALA
Every year Goddard honors a luminary of the publishing world with a fundraising gala. We had the opportunity to work with the honorees to develop the look-and-feel for each year’s invitation materials and programs, to best reflect their careers and interests.
