LaRocca Greene Architects is a high-end design firm specializing in municipal, educational, and community buildings. They've won numerous awards for design, sustainability, historical preservation, and community involvement; and when they needed a new online presence, they knew a prebuilt architecture firm website design template from Wix or Squarespace wouldn't cut it. They needed a creative services agency with skills commensurate to their own. So they contacted pondSoup and our web design and development team got to work.

LGA is the second iteration of an architecture firm with a long, storied history. We needed to nod to their past, while portraying the current version as firmly rooted in the present-day cutting edge design, materials, and building science. Our web designers accomplished this by using historic images in a clean, modern layout with an intuitive user interface. Working within LGA's own sensibilities, we established a new digital brand identity system including fonts, colors, and micro-interactions, which can be applied to their print marketing design as well.

Working from the approved design, our web development team set up a custom WordPress theme, built out page templates to design specifications, and created sample portfolios. We spent extra effort getting this aspect of their architecture firm website design just right, to present their projects both beautifully, and organized logically.

Though not part of the project specification, our digital marketing team made sure all on-page opportunities for search engine optimization were taken, and the architecture firm's website was indexed with major search engines and error-free. Whenever we develop a website, we employ organic search optimization best-practices, both to give our clients a leg up on their competition, and establish a foundation for future SEO work, should the client choose to implement a digital marketing campaign.
