Security company asserts their brand authority.
A New York City based event security firm wanted to break out of the pack and start being recognized for their high level of competence. pondSoup is recognized for our high level of competence, so Knight turned to us to build their brand.
We worked with a logo and branding the owner was very loyal to, gave it a bit of a shine, and used it as the basis for a new brand identity design. We then applied that branding to everything – business cards, letterhead, marketing collateral, proposals, holiday cards, their lobby walls – ensuring their blue and gold stayed with their clients.
We designed and developed their web site, not only to feature their services and successful history, but also to function as a day-to-day scheduling and coordination tool for their rather large team. What’s a website if nobody sees it? We used onpage SEO, a backlink campaign, and a few other proprietary methods to rank them for key terms to drive traffic, and make sure that our Knight Security was THE Knight Security, to search engines. We’ve continued building traffic, and business, by regularly adding content and bolstering their social media presence.
KTI (Knight Training Institute) has grown out of the success we’ve helped Knight achieve. Beginning in Spring 2018, KTI will offer security guard training in conjunction with the John Jay College Center for Private Security and Safety on Executive Protection. After designing a logo and brand identity for the Institute, pondSoup created KTI’s brand collateral design, course materials, online registration system, and we are marketing the classes to the security industry. Next up, expanding to Knight Security Los Angeles.
